Resistance to solvents, fungi & rodents
Kingspan GreenGuard® is resistant to most commonly occuring construction materials such as lime, cement, plaster, anhydrous gypsum, solvent-free bituminous compounds, water-based wood preservatives, as well as alcohols, acids and alkalis. Certain organic materials such as solvent-based preservatives, coal tar and derivatives (creosote), paint thinners and common solvents (e.g. acetone, ethyl acetate, petrol, toluene and white spirit) will attack Kingspan GreenGuard®, resulting in softening, shrinkage and possible dissolution, with a consequent loss of performance.

Kingspan Kooltherm K3 Floorboard is a high performance, fibre-free rigid thermoset closed cell phenolic insulation core, sandwiched between two layers of tissue-based facing autohesively bonded to the insulation core during manufacture.
Kingspan Kooltherm K3 Floorboard is manufactured without the use of CFCs/HCFCs and has zero Ozone Depleting Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP).

Thermakraft Watergate Plus
Watergate Plus is designed to help manage condensation and moisture in relation to the building envelope. It keeps water out and allows water vapour to escape. Watergate Plus is an industry-leading wall wrap that is BRANZ Appraised, CodeMark Certified and made under the ISO9001 quality management system.

Watergate Plus is less than 1mm in thickness and has an AS 1530.2 Flammability index of less than 5 and therefore has a flammability index classification of low in accordance with the AS/NZS 4200.1.
Durability
Watergate Plus is expected to have a serviceable life equal to that of the wall cladding provided:

- Installed in accordance with the instruction guide.
- Is not left exposed to the weather or UV for more than 60 days.
- Installed by or under the guidance of Licensed Building Practitioners.
