Cultured Stone used in “The Lakes, Norwest”

Austech's range of Cultured Stone cladding has been used extensively on a new development in Norwest, near the acclaimed Norwest Business Park.

The developer, Norwest Land has also been involved in other major projects, like the Bella Vista Waters estate. The Lakes, Norwest, has just completed the first stage called the Peninsula. The Peninsula features 11 lakeside homes, 11 townhouses and 12 apartments. All residences include quality fittings and feature Cultured Stone cladding on the exterior.

The whole development is designed to feel like an established family estate. Extensive mature planting and the use of Cultured Stone cladding makes the development fit into the natural parkland and surrounding lake. The look of the estate is so popular that many homes where sold before full completion.

At the Peninsula's centre is a three story apartment complex. The complex has large feature columns on the front and back. These features are clad with Country Ledgestone and stretch from the ground, up to the top penthouse level, three levels above.

Cultured Stone was chosen for the natural look it brought to the development and the time it saved the builders. Cultured Stone is lightweight so it does not require extensive structural support like traditional stone. Cultured Stone is also designed to be easy to install, and as a result the developer has saved thousands on labour costs while maintaining a high-spec standard.
